“I Corinthian 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. “
I used to read this verse in the Bible before not once, not twice and not thrice but when I read it it was just like that plain and simple until I heard this man speaking and reading Bible. The first time I heard him in a gathering was when I was 15. I was so young that time but I can’t hide a fact that I understand every thing that he is trying to explain and with all my heart I can say that I feel every word that he utters. I oftentimes found my tears falling unnoticeably because I can feel that every truth he speaks get through my bones. I have never felt this feeling before and I have never understood the words in the Bible until I heard Bro Eli. I grew up listening to different priests and different pastors but none of them had made me feel this feeling and arrive to this kind of understanding like I had with listening to Bro Eli.
There are times in your life when you feel alone and weary but when you get to hear him speak you would feel eased and comfort. When he sings he would make you feel contented and safe. That’s Bro Eli! No one does preache like him.
When he preaches he speaks of edification, and exhortation, and comfort. Now, I understand what this verse means.
