The newest mall and attraction in Dubai, the Mirdif City Center is opening today. The mall comprises 3,116,451 sq. ft of gross floor area spread over a service basement level and 1st floor, and 180,000 square metres of shopping space. Mirdif City Centre will offer roughly the same gross leasable area as Mall of the Emirates, the first mall with an attached indoor ski slope. The mall will include 7,000 car parking spaces and 430 retail outlets and 8 anchor stores including Carrefour.
Shopping and Fashion
The new mall has everything to offer when it comes to shopping and fashion. Mirdif City Center offers a special retail experience with an array of new and exclusive brands, including renowned international names and brands which are making their first appearance in the UAE. These include US brands Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, the legendary UK fashion label Miss Selfridge, Australian home-furnishing brand Freedom Furniture, American Eagle, Garage and Office Depot. Visitors will also have their pick of popular brands and well known names such as Debenhams, Zara, H&M, Hamleys, Go Sports, Home Centre, Paris Gallery, Virgin Megastores and a lot more.
Entertainment
The movie goers would love to find out that the mall will have 10 new ‘ExtremeScreens’ at CineStar. They are UAE’s largest cinema screens giving moviegoers an unrivaled cinema experience. Two of the 10 screens boast RealD Digital 3D screens, the most advanced digital technology in the movie industry. Two of the cinema screens on offer are Gold Class theaters, where film lovers can relax in luxurious reclining chairs, peruse an extensive hot food menu and enjoy exceptional service. Gold Class lounge can cater up to 80 guests.
For amusement lovers, Mirdif City Center has reserved a 25,000 square meters of purely entertainment and leisure facility. This is one of the largest of its kind in the region. This is called Playnation. This is one of the most inventive and imaginative experiences of its kind, where visitors will enjoy an array of six new concepts.
iFly Dubai. The key attraction. An incredible experience that allows visitors aged five and above to skydive safely indoors. Patented wind tunnel technology provides a safe, efficient and realistic skydiving experience that is not on offer anywhere else in the region.
Cite des Enfants. This is an edutainment concept conceived for younger visitors to the mall. Launched in partnership with the Parisian Cite des Sciences et de l’Industrie, one of the most visited science museums in the world. Cite des Enfants helps younger children explore and understand their environment through an interactive learning experience.
Soccer Circus Dubai. This is an interactive stadium that incorporates a realistic home crowd for an unmatchable experience, making wannabe soccer stars feel like they are part of a real match. The facility even has a commentator to report on every move.
Magic Planet. This popular attraction provides a range of amusement options for all age groups such as video and redemption games, family rides, soft play and thrill attractions.
Yalla! Bowling. A 12-lane cosmic ten pin bowling attraction. Aimed at the whole family but particularly appealing to the teenagers, the attraction also consists of a pool and billiards area, as well as a dedicated games section.
Aquaplay. This attaction is for younger visitors. A water-based edutainment recreational facility mixing learning with pleasure ideal for two to eight year-olds. Featuring running and still water throughout, Aquaplay incorporates the marine themes of sandy beaches and palm trees and even has its own unique cast of family-friendly characters called the ‘Aquapals’.

To provide a welcome rest during a hard day’s shopping, or as an evening out, Mirdif City Center also boasts an impressive line up of over 75 mouth watering food and beverage outlets. With names like Tiffinbites and P.F.
